Our Story

The journey began in 2021 when a group of passionate individuals came together with a shared vision of creating a space where people could come together to celebrate and learn about the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. With determination and hard work Bengali Foundation Palava was born.  

Our community is at the heart of everything we do. We are extremely proud to have built a diverse and inclusive community of people comprising of professionals, business persons, artists, performers, educators, academics and supporters who share our passion for promoting cultural understanding and appreciation.

We at Bengali Foundation Palava believe that there is no better way to build a healthy, thriving and engaged  community than sports. Cricket, Badminton, Squash, Gymming, Tennis, Swimming - you will always find a buddy from BFP to spar with. The sports whatsapp group for BFP is the most buzzing group in the community. 

Festivals and Community celebrations are at the core of Bengali Foundation Palava. Not only Durga Puja but Kali Puja, Laxmi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Dol Jatra (Holi), Nobo-borsho (New Year), Annual Picnics are celebrated with fervor and huge participation from across the community.  

Bengali Foundation Palava is committed to promoting the rich cultural heritage of Bengal.  Our members have participated in various cultural meets and festivals and brought accolades. Cultural performances are inherent part of each and every celebration at BFP. Celebrity performers are regularly invited to Bengali Foundation Palava stage.

Bengali Foundation Palava understands the importance of preserving our beloved and rich Bengali language for our next generation.  Regular Bengali language classes are held free of cost for all member families by Bengali Foundation Palava.
